Darshan Sabharwal passes away

Veteran producer-distributor Darshan Sabharwal passed away on December 31 at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. He was the father of noted filmmakers Suneel Darshan and Dharmesh Darshan.

Sabharwal was 78 years old. He had produced several films in the 60s like Yeh Raat Phir Na Aayeg, Ustaad, Naya Sansaari and Kahin Din Kahin Raat. He had even distributed over 500 films for the CP-CI (Indore) Circuit.
