Workers Union raid Zilla Ghaziabad sets

The troubles for producer Vinod Bachchan just don't seem to end. The producer, who was very recently admitted to the hospital after being diagnosed with kidney stones, now had a run-in with the workers union. The workers union raided the sets of his film Zilla Ghaziabad for non-payment of dues.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Allied Mazdoor Union raided the sets of Zilla Ghaziabad at Film City for non payment to the workers for an outstanding amount of Rs. 3,63,000. The crew has been working without pay for the past three months and thus they complained to the Allied Mazdoor Union.

Reportedly, the Union forced Bachchan to pay 80 percent of the dues after which the crewmembers returned to the sets and got back to work.
